A real preserved snake skeleton, hand gilded in 24ct gold leaf and framed in a large box frame. I generally only gild one snake per year, due to the amount of time and dedication they take. This is the 2024 piece.
The glass is removed for photography to avoid glare, all frames ship with glass. The frame has wall hanging hardware on the back and is deep anough to free stand for displlay on a shelf or mantlepiece. To change the orientation of the snake when displayed, unclasp the back and rotate the backing piece.
