The rare Siberian Owl Moth (Brahmaea tancrei) in a shadow box frame with matte black background. The one pictured is the exact and only one available. This piece is from my personal collection, and is a species I have not offered for sale before.

Brahmaea tancrei, the Siberian owl moth, is a moth in the family Brahmaeidae. It was described by Jules Léon Austaut in 1896. It is found from Russia to Korea and China and south to Indonesia.

Frame dimensions 20cmx20cm. Wall hanging, glass removed for photos to avoid glare, all frames ship with glass.
