A curated collection of 24 different entomology species all with 24ct gold accented features.

Each piece has been preserved, pinned and hand gilded in pure fine gold leaf. For the composition, I slowly collated pieces over the course of a year, and the piece as a whole went through many different versions as new species were added to the collection. At 24 pieces I was happy Entopia was complete, with the number of species also reflecting the ‘24 carat’ aspect of the piece.

The frame measures 525mm x 525mm or 20.6” x 20.6”.
