A decorative plaque featuring a reproduction of the Renaissance artwork "Head of a Female Saint" (Testa di Santa) by the Italian Venetian master Giovanni Battista Cima da Conegliano (c. 1459–1517). The original oil-on-panel painting is housed in the Museo Poldi Pezzoli in Milan, Italy.
This piece was hand sourced by me in September during a four day sourcing trip around northern Milan, and imported as a selected collection (aka the tiny amount of items I was able to fit into my hand luggage). I chose pieces based on what I love and would style in my own home. I began sourcing vintage professionally earlier this year, but I began collecting in my early 20’s. Living in an old house in the Norfolk countryside has led me to countless antique shops, vintage markets and museum gift shops (my secret for replica artefacts and the highest quality painting replicas of Old Masters).
