This is a charming miniature oil painting on what I believe is a copper sheet due to the metallic reflections from under the paint around the subject. Original dark wood octagonol frame.
Earlier this year I drove from the UK to northern Italy to source pieces of vintage and antique art and décor. I spent four days visiting as many antiques shops, brocantes and flea markets as I could. Each item I selected for its charm and interest, to create a small curated collection of Italian made pieces.
