This is the most charming frame, and one of the first pieces I picked up in Italy. The only framed piece of needlepoint I saw while sourcing, this is an unusual piece which would add a lot of interest to a gallery wall of nature / butterfly pieces.
Earlier this year I drove from the UK to northern Italy to source pieces of vintage and antique art and décor. I spent four days visiting as many antiques shops, brocantes and flea markets as I could. Each item I selected based on what I love, for its charm and interest, to create a small curated collection of Italian pieces.
