Italian Vintage - Original Dark Floral Oil Paintings On Pure Copper Sheet

A rather splendid pair of dark floral oil paintings, painted directly onto sheets of pure copper. Heavily moulded giltwood frames. Certificate of authentication on the backs, with wall hanging fixings.

These frames are both in lovely condition, with highly detailed miniature oil paintings of floral displays.

This piece was hand sourced by me in September during a four day sourcing trip around northern Milan, and imported as a selected collection (aka the tiny amount of items I was able to fit into my hand luggage). I chose pieces based on what I love and would style in my own home. I began sourcing vintage professionally earlier this year, but I began collecting in my early 20’s. Living in an old house in the Norfolk countryside has led me to countless antique shops, vintage markets and museum gift shops (my secret for replica artefacts and the highest quality painting replicas of Old Masters).
